Madden NFL 25 Cross-platform Information

PC (Win), PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S players can play together. PlayStation 4 players can only play with other PlayStation 4 players. Xbox One players can only play with other Xbox One players.

While each store may cross-play with other versions on the same platform, it cannot play with versions in a different cross-play group.

Can Madden NFL 25 be cross-played?

Cross-Play:

Madden NFL 25 supports cross-platform play on PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S.

Players can match up and play together in online Head-to-Head, Franchise, Madden Ultimate Team™, Superstar KO, and Superstar Showdown.

Cross-play is enabled by default, but can be disabled through system settings on Xbox Series X|S and the in-game settings menu on PC and PS5.

Cross-Progression:

Madden NFL 25 features cross-progression for Avatar progression and gear purchases in Superstar mode across PC, PS5, and Xbox Series X|S. However, the Madden Ultimate Team (MUT) Auction House is not shared across platforms, meaning players can only trade within their platform ecosystem.

Additional Features:

• Leaderboards are cross-platform for players with cross-play enabled, while players who opt out will only see leaderboards for their platform.

• Matchmaking wait times will decrease due to a larger cross-platform player pool.

• Cloud Franchise leagues support cross-play and can be enabled in new and existing leagues. However, this feature is currently in live beta, meaning temporary disabling may occur if necessary.
