Super Animal Royale Cross-platform Information

PC (Win), MacOS, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S players can play together.

While each store may cross-play with other versions on the same platform, it cannot play with versions in a different cross-play group.

Can Super Animal Royale be cross-played?

This game supports crossplay across multiple platforms, making it easy for friends to team up wherever they play. Below is an overview of how crossplay parties work and the specific steps for creating or joining a party.

Crossplay Basics

• PC (Steam): Crossplay is always enabled by default and cannot be turned off.

• Consoles (Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4 & 5): Players must manually toggle on crossplay to join matches with PC (Steam) users or any other platform.

Creating a Crossplay Party

1. Add a Friend: From the in-game menu, choose “Add a Friend.”

2. Cross Platform Party: Select “Cross Platform Party.”

3. Create/Join with Code:

• Click Create to generate a party code. Share this code with friends on any platform so they can join.

• Alternatively, if you already have a friend’s party code, simply click Join with Code and enter it to team up.

Steam Parties

• Steam Invites: When playing on Steam, you can invite friends directly through your Steam Friends List or via the in-game menu.

• Steam-Only: These invites work for Steam friends only. If you want to include friends on other platforms, use the crossplay party code system.

Discord Parties

• No Longer Supported: Due to Discord discontinuing its game invite/lobbies feature in May 2023, Discord parties are no longer available for this title.
